Moscow, Russia – A new explosion rocked the Russian capital, Moscow, today, seriously injuring two police officers. The two officers were taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to Russian security sources.

Sources reported that the explosion occurred at a vital location in the capital, prompting a large-scale security mobilization. Police forces cordoned off the area, and criminal investigation teams began collecting evidence and examining the circumstances of the incident.

Initial reports indicate the explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device, though no official confirmation has yet been given regarding who was responsible. Authorities are continuing to analyze surveillance footage and interview witnesses to determine the motive behind the attack.

Medical authorities confirmed that the two injured police officers are in critical condition and that medical teams are making intensive efforts to save their lives. Their health is being closely monitored.

This bombing comes at a time when Moscow is under heightened security measures due to escalating security threats. Official assurances have been given that efforts will continue to apprehend those involved and ensure the safety of the capital and its residents.

Russian authorities have not yet released an official statement providing further details about the incident. Updates are expected in the coming hours after the initial investigation is completed.
