Gaza, Palestine – The Gaza Strip witnessed an alarming escalation in Israeli violations last week. Human rights organizations and Palestinian factions documented 99 settler attacks, resulting in the deaths of several Palestinians and injuries to 95 others, including women and children.
The reports indicated that these attacks included repeated raids on homes and the confiscation of agricultural land. They also involved targeting farmers in various parts of the Gaza Strip, as well as attacks on vital facilities and infrastructure, resulting in partial destruction of some homes and widespread damage to farms and crops.
Palestinian hospitals in Gaza also recorded an increase in the number of wounded during the same week. Most of them were injured as a result of direct gunfire and artillery shelling by Israeli forces. Human rights organizations warned that the continuation of these attacks could exacerbate the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
