Doha, Qatar – Eric Trump, son of the US president, asserted during his participation in the Doha Forum 2025 that the American people are no longer willing to shoulder the responsibility of addressing all global crises alone. He called for a shared responsibility among all nations.

Highlights
  • Praise for Qatar’s role in international mediation
  • Criticism of previous US administrations
  • China in Africa: Unstable projects
  • Praise for Elon Musk
  • His father is capable of bringing together international parties
  • An opportunity to reset global policies
  • Flexible and unpredictable leadership

Praise for Qatar’s role in international mediation

Trump Jr. noted that Qatar had set an effective example in mediation efforts. This was achieved by hosting the parties to the peace process and focusing on tangible results away from media hype.

Criticism of previous US administrations

Donald Trump Jr. criticized the policies of some previous administrations, arguing that appeasement of aggressive actors was a grave mistake. He also suggested that Russia should have faced stronger measures in Ukraine.

China in Africa: Unstable projects

Trump Jr. pointed out that China is leaving a negative impact in Africa. He noted that Beijing’s projects are rapidly failing. This presents an opportunity for American companies to operate in a fairer environment.

Praise for Elon Musk

Eric Trump praised Elon Musk’s role in supporting freedom of expression and scientific progress, noting that Musk and his father are similar in boldness and innovation.

His father is capable of bringing together international parties

Donald Trump Jr. asserted that President Trump possesses a unique ability to bring international parties to the table and achieve peace. However, he remains an “unpredictable” figure, and there is no confirmation regarding his potential candidacy in the upcoming elections.

An opportunity to reset global policies

Eric Trump explained that the world today has a rare opportunity to reshape international politics. He added that many world leaders see his father as the person capable of achieving global political and trade balance.

Flexible and unpredictable leadership

Trump Jr. concluded by emphasizing that his father’s unconventional leadership could open the door to great achievements globally, even with the uncertainty surrounding his political future.
