Seoul, South Korea – The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) announced a significant improvement in weather conditions on Saturday. The alert level in South Jeolla Province was lifted, including the cancellation of both tsunami and storm warnings.
The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) announced that the storm warning in effect for several regions will be lifted starting at 4:00 PM local time (16:00) on Saturday.
The decision to lift the storm warning includes the areas of Mokpo, Muan, Yeongam, Sinan (excluding the Hyoksando-myeon area).
This decision comes after the weather conditions stabilized and improved in those areas.
