Islamabad, Pakistan – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) announced its intention to issue a comprehensive white paper revealing – according to the party –
evidence related to the government’s “involvement” in rigging the recent by-elections.
Corruption worsened, and the state of law and order deteriorated.
In addition to what the party described as “bad intentions” behind
some government legislation, the deteriorating economic situation in the country.
Asad Qaiser, one of the party’s most prominent leaders and former National Assembly speaker,
told the Dawn newspaper that the white paper is expected to be released next month.
He noted that specialized teams are currently working on compiling data
and observations related to the various files.

He added that what happened in the recent by-elections, particularly in the Haripur region,
“proved once again the government’s failure and declining popularity,” as he put it.

of the economic situation, corruption issues, and allegations of election fraud.
