Washington, DC – The US Secretary of State stated that Russia is showing no genuine willingness to resolve the Ukrainian crisis through diplomatic means. He noted that Moscow continues its military operations without any signs of backing down or engaging seriously in peace negotiations.

The minister explained in a press statement that the US administration is closely monitoring developments and coordinating with European allies to increase pressure on Russia. The goal is to end the war and restore stability to the region.

He added that Washington still believes a political solution is the only way to end the ongoing humanitarian suffering in Ukraine. However, he stressed that Russia’s current stance complicates the chances of any progress in this direction.

The US Secretary of State’s remarks come amid escalating international efforts to relaunch peace talks, while fighting continues on Ukraine’s eastern front with no signs of abating.
