Berlin, Germany – The Germany federal government plans to purchase new weapons systems and military equipment worth more than 3 billion euros,
The Germany parliament (Bundestag) is scheduled to make its decision
on these deals next Wednesday in a closed session.
The Handelsblatt newspaper, citing a Bloomberg report, stated,
The relevant confidential documents have already been sent to Parliament for approval.
Details of the new arms deals
The new deals of germany , which include attack helicopters, night vision systems
and missiles, include 20 attack helicopters from Airbus,
This is worth nearly one billion euros, and includes 100,000 night vision
devices from the German company Hensoldt.
The Greek company Theon International, also valued at one billion euros,
Additional surface-to-air missiles of the IRIS-T SLM type from
the Germany company Diehl, at a cost of 1.2 billion euros.

Last month, the federal parliament approved 18 defense programs
with a total value of more than 14 billion euros.
New contracts are expected to be approved by the end of this year.
Handelsblatt also noted that the Ministry of Defense of germany declined
to comment on the report ahead of Wednesday’s parliamentary session.
