Washington, DC – Sources within the US administration have revealed that Washington is preparing to provide a new package of military and economic aid to Ukraine, estimated at approximately $2 billion. This aid will be delivered within the next few months.
This move comes as part of ongoing support for Kyiv in the face of continued Russian operations. Discussions are underway within Congress regarding the mechanisms for funding and distributing aid between defense and humanitarian sectors.
US officials confirmed that the anticipated aid will be used to bolster Ukraine’s defense capabilities and support infrastructure damaged by the war. This comes as Washington seeks to balance its commitments to Kyiv with domestic priorities.
