Moscow, Russia – The Russian presidency warned the Kremlin that supplying American Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, if it happens, would constitute a dangerous escalation. This is due to the ability of these missiles to carry nuclear warheads.

The Kremlin indicated that Russia’s position on the delivery of Tomahawk missiles was made clear by President Vladimir Putin.

He added that this would be a dangerous escalation. However, it would not be able to change the situation for Kiev.

The Kremlin believes that it is necessary to wait for clearer statements from US President Donald Trump. They are regarding the supply of American-made Tomahawk missiles to Kiev.

He said that Russia stems from the fact that Trump remains committed. Specifically, he is contributing to resolving the conflict in Ukraine through negotiations.

The Kremlin explained that no serious steps had been taken to establish a dialogue between Russian and American diplomatic missions.

Trump said on Monday that he wanted to know what Ukraine planned to do with Tomahawk missiles. This would be before agreeing to supply them.

He justified this by saying that he did not want to escalate the Russian war against Ukraine.
