Islamabad, Pakistan – Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif responded on Sunday in a sharp tone to what he called provocative statements. These were issued by the most prominent security institution in New Delhi.
He said that India “will be buried under the wreckage of its warplanes”. God willing.
Pakistan’s Geo TV reported that Asif described in a post on the X platform. He said the recent statements of military and political leaders in India were a failed attempt to restore their lost credibility.
He added that their statements show that the pressure is at its highest levels.
Asif said: “After the decisive 6-0 defeat, if they try again, Pakistan’s result will become better”.
He added that public opinion in India turned strongly against the ruling party after that defeat. This change is reflected in the leaders’ words.
Indian Air Force Commander Amar Preet Singh said on Saturday that India shot down five Pakistani F-16 and JF-17 fighters. This occurred during heavy fighting between the two nuclear-armed neighbors last May.
