Doha, Qatar – The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that a preparatory meeting of the foreign ministers of Arab and Islamic countries will be held on Sunday in Doha before the Arab-Islamic summit scheduled for tomorrow, Monday.

Advisor to the Prime Minister and official spokesman for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari, explained that the summit will discuss a draft resolution on the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar submitted by the preparatory meeting of foreign ministers.
Al-Ansari stressed that holding the Arab-Islamic summit at this time has several implications.
It also reflects the broad Arab and Islamic solidarity with the State of Qatar in the face of Israeli aggression.
In this context, Qatar called on the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva and the Special Rapporteur on combating terrorism to issue a clear and explicit position condemning the Israeli attack on a residential building in Qatar and the violations resulting from it.
Including terrorizing civilians and destroying homes.
The Qatari delegation in Geneva also stressed the importance of preventing impunity for violations resulting from this attack.
In addition, the Qatari delegation called on the United Nations to take serious and effective action to document Israeli violations.
He called on it to take effective measures to hold Israel accountable and prevent a recurrence of its violations.
