Kabul, Afghanistan – Afghan TV reported (R.T.A) About 500 people were killed and a thousand others were injured in an earthquake that struck eastern Afghanistan on Monday. 

Health authorities in the Taliban government in Kabul explained that they are still working to confirm the official death toll

In addition to working to reach remote areas. 

The earthquake, which measured 6 on the Richter scale, struck Nangarhar province in eastern Afghanistan, near the border with Pakistan. 

The US Geological Survey said the earthquake occurred at a depth of 8 kilometers.
