Cairo, Egypt – Artist Ahmed Helmy has begun filming his new movie “Hadouta”, just days after finishing filming “Ad’af Khalaqa”, in a move that reflects his strong return to cinema after an absence of about 3 years.
Betting on two films at once
Ahmed Helmy decided to return to his audience by presenting two cinematic works, in an attempt to regain his strong presence on the artistic scene, and to satisfy the passion of his audience who have been waiting for his return for a while. The artist Amina Khalil is scheduled to play the leading role opposite Helmy in the film “Hadouta”, in the first artistic collaboration that brings them together, which adds a state of anticipation about the nature of this duo on the screen.
The film’s heroes
The film stars a group of actors, including Magid El Masry, Rahma Ahmed, and Mohamed Abdel Azim, along with a popular festival singer, in an artistic combination that includes acting and singing. The film includes a number of songs that will be used within the dramatic context of the events, which gives a different character to the work and enhances its entertainment atmosphere.
His weakest creation
Ahmed Helmy had finished filming the movie “Ad’af Khalqo” (His Weakest Creation), in which he co-stars with Tunisian actress Hend Sabry. The film revolves around a veterinarian working at the Giza Zoo during its decline and loss of its luster, where he finds himself besieged by increasing financial and family pressures, before receiving a mysterious offer from a wealthy man to adopt some animals from the zoo. This begins a series of intertwined events that lead him to a perilous mission related to animal smuggling.
Hend Sabry’s role
Meanwhile, Hend Sabry embodies the character of a woman who lives through a deep human conflict between faith and fear, in a role that carries emotional and human dimensions that are very moving.
