Cairo, Egypt – Producer Tarek El Ganainy announced the start of filming for the movie “Mahmoud El Tani,” starring Ahmed Bahr “Kozbara,” Ahmed Ghazi, Caroline Azmy, and Jana El Ashkar. The film is written by Iyad Saleh, directed by Abdel Aziz El Naggar, and produced by Tarek El Ganainy.

Renewed collaboration after “Al-Harifa”
This marks the second collaboration between Ahmed Bahr “Kozbara” and Ahmed Ghazi with writer Iyad Saleh and producer Tarek El Ganainy, as they previously worked together on the film “El Harifa,” which achieved great success upon its release.
Coriander’s latest works
This film comes after Kozbara’s great success in the 2026 Ramadan drama season, where he had his first leading role in the series “Bibo.” Through this work, Kozbara was able to establish himself in the artistic scene, especially with his participation alongside a group of stars, including Hala Sedki and Sayed Ragab, which contributed to drawing attention to him and generating widespread positive feedback.
