Washington, USA – HBO has revealed the first teaser trailer for its new series “Harry Potter,” based on the works of British author J.K. Rowling, in a move that revives the famous series nearly 25 years after the launch of the Harry Potter films.
Show date of the series
The series is expected to air during the Christmas season of 2026, taking the audience back to the magical atmosphere inside Hogwarts School.
The promo… the story begins under the stairs
The trailer showcases scenes from the beginning of Harry Potter’s journey, showing him living in his cramped room under the stairs at the Dursleys’ house, being bullied by his cousin Dudley, while his aunt Petunia tries to belittle him, before his life changes completely with the arrival of his acceptance letter to Hogwarts.
Hagrid later appears to reveal the truth about the wizarding world, giving him the first clues about his past and his parents. The scenes then unfold as Harry prepares for the journey, crossing platform 9¾, and finally boarding the Hogwarts train.
