Cairo, Egypt – Renowned artist Najat Al Saghira denied the authenticity of a photo recently circulated on social media, which was claimed to be her latest appearance, asserting that it was a fabricated image and had no basis in reality.
The image is faked using artificial intelligence techniques.
The renowned Arab singer, in a phone call with writer Ahmed El-Moslemany, head of the National Media Authority, as reported by the “Good Morning Egypt” program, explained that the image had been manipulated using artificial intelligence techniques, warning of the dangers of circulating such material without verifying its authenticity.

Warning against rushing to publish content
The program indicated that the incident reflects a state of haste in publishing content, especially with the development of artificial intelligence tools that allow the production of unreal images presented to the public as credible, with the aim of attracting attention and achieving widespread dissemination.

Trending at the expense of credibility
He pointed out that some entities seek to create trends even at the expense of truth, by publishing misleading material without verification or review. He also noted that the crisis is not limited to images alone, but extends to the circulation of inaccurate information about the artist, raising concerns about declining verification standards on some platforms.
The program confirmed that the artist Najat Al Saghira’s most recent public appearance was last November, during her visit to the Egyptian Opera House in the New Administrative Capital, as well as the headquarters of the National Media Authority, where she was received by Engineer Khaled Abbas and writer Ahmed Al-Muslimani.
