Cairo, Egypt – The film “The Tagamoa Killer” will be re-released in cinemas within hours, following censorship modifications that included the removal of several scenes that sparked widespread controversy, in order to align with societal values and the regulations imposed by the relevant authorities. The film was previously pulled from cinemas. The filmmakers were surprised earlier by the film’s withdrawal from theaters, following a decision by the Censorship Board for Artistic Works, which instructed cinemas to cease screening the film. This occurred despite its release coinciding with the eve of Eid, causing controversy among the public and the filmmakers.
Film Plot The film unfolds within a framework of crime and suspense, telling the story of a young man who grew up in isolation and embarks on a dark journey of self-discovery, leading him to commit crimes from a young age. As time passes, his criminal tendencies escalate and he becomes increasingly brutal, before his life takes a dramatic turn when he falls in love with a beautiful girl. He then attempts to secure their future by committing one final crime. Cast The film stars Ahmed El-Fishawy, alongside Yosra El-Masoudi, Cynthia Khalifa, Jessica Hossam El-Din, and Entisar, in addition to a number of other actors. It is written and directed by Mohamed Salah El-Azab and produced by Ahmed El-Sobky.
