Amman, Jordan – The organizers of the concert of international star Shakira in Jordan announced the postponement of the concert, which was scheduled to be held on March 28, to an indefinite date, due to the current regional circumstances, in a decision that caused sadness among her fans.
The reason for the sudden postponement
The organizing company stated in an official statement on Instagram that the decision was made “due to current regional circumstances,” without disclosing further details, while confirming that a new date will be announced in the coming period. The concert was scheduled to take place as part of the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour in the Ayla area of Aqaba, one of the most prominent tourist destinations overlooking the Red Sea.
Large public turnout
The event was expected to draw around 12,000 attendees from Jordan and various Middle Eastern countries, reflecting the significant interest in the event.
The organizers confirmed that tickets already sold will remain valid until a new date is set, with sales continuing as normal.
She also explained that the ticket refund process will be open for one week only after the official announcement of the alternative date, for those who wish to do so, for the safety of the audience. The postponement decision reflects the organizers’ concern for the safety of attendees in light of the current circumstances, with a promise that the concert will return at a later time that meets the audience’s expectations.
