Cairo, Egypt – The special screening of the film “Egy Best” was held a short while ago at a cinema, in preparation for its release during the upcoming Eid al-Fitr season, amidst a notable presence of the film’s stars and creators.

Several of the film’s stars attended the screening, including Salma Abu Deif, Essam Omar, Mohamed Abdel Rahman, Michelle Milad, and Jihad Saif El Din, along with a number of young actors.
Work events
The film revolves around the behind-the-scenes story of the founding of the “EgyBest” platform, which sparked widespread controversy in the world of intellectual property rights in the Arab world. The story begins in one of the alleys of the Al-Marg neighborhood in Cairo, when two friends decide to turn their passion for cinema into something resembling a digital rebellion, in an attempt to challenge the laws of the industry and build one of the most famous piracy platforms, which started from scratch and achieved unprecedented spread.
