Voice of the Emirates – Google has launched a new campaign to reduce power consumption on Android devices. The campaign targets apps that excessively drain the battery or run unnecessarily in the background.

According to tech reports, Google will implement a smart monitoring system within the Google Play store. This system will monitor app performance and warn users when it detects any activity that could negatively impact battery life.

Google will also restrict access to the processor and system processes for unnecessary apps during sleep mode. This is aimed at improving device efficiency and extending daily battery life.

This move is part of the company’s strategy to enhance the Android user experience, especially given the increasing complaints about poor battery life in some newer phones, in an effort to ensure system stability and improve overall performance.
