Abu Dhabi, UAE – Abu Dhabi Ports Group announced the launch of integrated logistics services between Khalifa Port and Umm Qasr Port in Iraq. As part of the group’s commitment to strengthening regional connectivity and supporting existing trade routes.
The services meet the growing demand for shipping containers and rolled goods, through weekly shipping services linking Khalifa Port and Umm Qasr Port. It contributes to enhancing trade movement between Lebanon, Syria and Jordan with the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The scope of logistical connectivity to the region has also expanded to include markets in Türkiye and Europe.
As part of preparations to provide new integrated services, Abu Dhabi Ports Group has equipped all logistical capabilities at Khalifa and Umm Qasr ports to facilitate the storage and transportation of goods. This contributes to ensuring more streamlined trade flows and enhancing business flexibility in the long term.
