Abu Dhabi, UAE – Al Wahda drew 2-2 with Ittihad Kalba in a match played at Al Nahyan Stadium. This result, part of the ADNOC Pro League, continues Al Wahda’s poor run of form in the competition.
With this result, Al Wahda suffered a negative record, after failing to achieve victory for the fifth consecutive match in the league, a streak that has not occurred since the 2021 season.
Christian Benteke opened the scoring for Al Wahda in the 9th minute, before Omar Khribin added the second goal in the 19th minute from a penalty kick.
In response, René Rivas narrowed the gap for Kalba in the 69th minute with a well-placed header. Just two minutes later, the same player scored the equalizer with a shot from inside the penalty area.
Al Wahda moved up to fourth place with 36 points, while Kalba remained in ninth place with 23 points.
