Doha, Qatar – Qatari researcher and writer Ali Al-Hail warned against the continuation of what he described as “Iran’s brutal attacks” on the Gulf states, stressing the need for utmost restraint and wisdom.
He emphasized the importance of exercising prudence in dealing with the current escalation in the region.
Open military conflict
Qatari writer Ali Al-Hail explained that the leaders of the Gulf states possess
the awareness and experience to avoid being drawn into an open military conflict.
He also stressed the importance of not being drawn into a war
that could serve other parties at the expense of regional stability.
He indicated that the current escalation may be part of complex arrangements.
He also pointed to the possibility of coordination between the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and international actors,
including Israel and the United States, with the aim of dragging the Gulf states into a military confrontation.
Giving precedence to reason
Qatari writer Ali Al-Hail asserted that any potential war in the region “is not a Gulf war, nor a war between Iran and the United States.”
He argued that it essentially serves the agenda of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
He also called for prioritizing reason and preserving the security
and stability of the Gulf states, steering them away from conflicts that do not benefit their people.
