Abu Dhabi, UAE – Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from Antonio Costa. During the call, they discussed developments in the region in light of the military escalation.

In addition, they discussed their negative repercussions on the global economy, amid growing fears of a widening crisis.
Condemnation of the attacks and targeting of civilians
Costa condemned the attacks targeting the UAE and a number of countries in the region.
He stressed that they represent a violation of state sovereignty and international laws,
especially in light of the targeting of civilians, infrastructure and vital facilities. This undermines security and stability.
Strengthening UAE-EU cooperation
The two sides also discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the UAE and the European Union.
Moreover, they explored opportunities to expand the partnership in various fields to achieve common interests and support regional stability.
They emphasized the importance of continued joint coordination to address current challenges and work to contain escalation.
