Seoul, South Korea – The Abu Dhabi National Association of Jiu-Jitsu Professionals Championship concluded on Tuesday in the Republic of Korea. Amidst wide participation from various countries of the world, and strong competition between players in various weights, belts and age stages, which included the categories of cubs, juniors, youth and adults, men and women.
The tournament, which was held at the Pocheon Songunai Sports Center in Seoul, witnessed a distinguished technical level and strong competition between the participants. 56 colored medals were distributed to the first-place winners, including 26 gold medals, 21 silver medals, and 9 bronze medals. In a competitive atmosphere that reflects the development of Jiu-Jitsu in Asia and the growing interest in it in various countries around the world.
13 gold medals for Korea
The Republic of Korea topped the overall standings of the tournament after winning 13 gold medals, 13 silver medals and 9 bronze medals. To confirm its strong presence in this sport, and to benefit from hosting the tournament in developing the local player base.
Mongolia came in second place with 9 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 7 bronze medals. Peru came in third place after winning a gold and a silver medal.
High technical levels
On the other hand, the Abu Dhabi Association of Jiu-Jitsu Professionals Festival competitions also concluded on Sunday in Moscow. With the participation of more than 1,000 male and female players of different age groups, amid a wide presence that embodies the growing spread of the game globally.
The competitions witnessed high technical levels. The festival witnessed the distribution of 680 colored medals to the first-place winners. With 251 gold medals, 238 silver medals, and 191 bronze medals.
The Abu Dhabi Association of Jiu-Jitsu Professionals Festival also concluded on Sunday in Luanda. With the participation of hundreds of male and female players from a number of countries. Most notable are Angola, Lebanon, Argentina, South Africa and Brazil. The competitions witnessed the distribution of 236 colored medals to the first-place winners, including 104 gold medals, 84 silver medals, and 48 bronze medals.
