Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Abu Dhabi Center for Projects and Infrastructure is organizing the second edition of the “Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit – ADIS 2026” with projects exceeding $57 billion. This will take place from May 12 to 14 at ADNEC Abu Dhabi. Under the slogan “Urban Development: A New Vision for Cities, a New Concept for Our Lives.” As part of its efforts to accelerate the transition to smarter, more sustainable cities, it places people at the forefront of its priorities by meeting their future needs and aspirations.
The summit comes in an expanded version that reflects growing global demand, with an intense focus on expanding the scope of projects, maximizing their impact, and raising the efficiency of implementation. Which enhances the transformation of urban plans into tangible results on the ground.
Participation elite
The summit will witness the participation of an elite group of heads of government and CEOs of major international companies and institutions. Along with developers, investors and innovators from various vital sectors linked to the global infrastructure system.
The summit will host a series of specialized sessions in cooperation with the International Federation of Consulting Engineers “FIDIC”. To discuss dispute resolution mechanisms related to the approved framework for Abu Dhabi capital projects, in a way that enhances commitment to the highest standards of governance and transparency.
In its new session, the summit adopts a more comprehensive structure that keeps pace with the growing demand for implementable urban solutions. Through an expanded agenda that focuses on the size of projects, maximizing their development impact, and raising the efficiency of implementation. Backed by a massive infrastructure project portfolio in Abu Dhabi worth over $57 billion. It includes the housing, transportation, culture, education, and social facilities sectors, strengthening the emirate’s position as a leading global model for urban development and transforming ambitions into measurable achievements.
Record growth for Abu Dhabi
The summit is being held amid record growth in Abu Dhabi’s economy. The GDP reached AED 325.7 billion in the third quarter of 2025, driven by a 13.9% year-on-year growth in the construction sector. At a time when global expectations indicate that 70% of the world’s population will move to live in cities by 2050, which reinforces the importance of the summit as a major platform to confront these transformations.
The summit will witness broad international participation through pavilions dedicated to Singapore, China and Turkey, complementing the results of the promotional tours implemented by the center in those markets during 2025. Which resulted in the signing of 9 memorandums of understanding and the holding of more than 30 high-level bilateral meetings. This opens the way for international partnerships and sustainable investment opportunities.
The annual performance report of the Abu Dhabi Center for Projects and Infrastructure revealed the successful completion of 100 capital projects during 2025. Reflecting the accelerating momentum witnessed by the emirate’s urban sector and the remarkable progress made in implementing large-scale projects.
