Business visit to the Emirates
This came during His Highness’s meeting with His Excellency the Ukrainian President, who is on a working visit to the Emirates.
His Highness welcomed him to the UAE, expressing his appreciation for His Excellency’s visit in light of the current circumstances, which embody the strength of relations between the two countries.
Iranian aggression
The meeting discussed the ongoing Iranian aggression against the UAE and countries in the region, which targets civilians, facilities and civilian infrastructure.
Zelensky renewed his condemnation of this terrorist aggression because it represents a violation of the sovereignty of states, international law, and the United Nations Charter, and an undermining of regional and international security and peace.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that the UAE is dealing with the crisis wisely and patiently, based on its keenness to spare the region from further tensions and crises.
His Highness also stressed that it will continue to defend its sovereignty with full force and steadfastness in the face of terrorist attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure.
He said that the state is fully prepared to confront all threats and reserves its full right to self-defense as guaranteed by international law.

During the meeting, His Highness the Head of State and His Excellency the Ukrainian President also discussed various aspects of cooperation and joint work and opportunities for developing them within the framework of the comprehensive economic partnership between the two countries and mutual keenness to achieve its goals.
In this context, His Highness renewed the UAE’s support for all efforts and initiatives aimed at achieving sustainable peace in Ukraine.
