Dubai, UAE – Dubai will host the 30th edition of the Dubai World Cup evening on Saturday at Meydan Stadium.
This is with the participation of 100 elite international racing horses, as part of a program consisting of 9 rounds with a total prize money of $30.5 million.
Completing the regulations
The organizing committee of the Dubai Horse Racing Club completed all technical and organizational preparations.
In addition to the accompanying events program, in preparation for organizing the event according to the highest standards, at a time when local and international circles are awaiting this edition, which is witnessing strong competition for the 2026 Dubai World Cup title.
The evening will be led by the main round of the Dubai World Cup, sponsored by Emirates Airlines.
With prizes amounting to $12 million, for a distance of 2,000 meters of sand, “Category One”, with the participation of 9 of the strongest purebred crossbred horses.
first half
The evening begins with the first round, “Dubai Kahila Classic”, for purebred Arabian horses (first category), over a distance of 2,000 sandy metres.
With the participation of 15 horses for prizes amounting to one million dollars, led by “Murad”, “First Class”, “Falah” and “Mabid”.
second half
The second round will witness the “Godolphin Mile” – Category 2, over a distance of 1,600 sand meters, with the participation of 12 horses for prizes of one million dollars.
Most notable are “Comchiner King”, “Panchenig”, “Mindelson” and “David of Athens”.
third period
The third round, “Dubai Gold Cup” – second category, for a distance of 3,200 grass meters, includes 10 horses competing for one million dollars.
The nominees are “Al-Rafaa”, “Al-Nayer”, “Sunway”, “Sons & Lovers” and “Fairy Qalin”.
Final runs
The fourth round of the “Emirates Derby – Category 2” will be held over a distance of 1900 sand metres, with the participation of 12 horses competing for one million dollars, and will be led by “Pyromancer”, “Wonder Dean”, “Sex Esped” and “Bruce Love”.
The fifth round, “Al Qoz for Speed – First Class”, is dedicated to a distance of 1,200 grass metres, with the participation of 13 horses competing for prizes worth $1.5 million, led by “Lazat”, “Rif Runner”, “Kafr Ab” and “Marban”.
The sixth round, “Dubai Golden Shaheen – First Category”, over a distance of 1,200 sandy metres, will witness the participation of 12 horses competing for two million dollars, most notably “Pentornato”, “Al Nassib”, “Midland Money” and “Mvasa”.
The seventh round, “Dubai Turf – First Class”, for a distance of 1,800 grassy metres, includes 11 horses competing for prizes worth $5 million, led by “Ambudsman”, “Qudwa”, “Al-Najm” and “Fakter Cheval”.
Six horses will participate in the eighth round of the Longines Dubai Shima Classic – First Class, over a distance of 2410 grass metres, competing for prizes worth $6 million, led by Kalandagan, Ezekiel Diamond, Qaifiloto and Royal Power.
