Dubai, UAE – The Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project in Dubai South announced the launch of the Aircraft Coating and Parts Processing Center developed by Lufthansa Technik Middle East.
In a move that reinforces the company’s commitment to expanding its operational capabilities in the region, and contributes to consolidating the project’s position as a major focus for advanced aviation services, maintenance, repair and aircraft renovation work.

The new facility is designed to support coating and curing processes used to repair structures and parts made of composite materials.
This allows accelerating processing and drying processes, improving the efficiency of repair processes, and reducing work completion time for the benefit of customers in the region and abroad.
The launch ceremony was attended by Tahnoun Saif, Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project, and Ziad Al Hazmi, CEO of Lufthansa Technik Middle East.

Tahnoun Saif said that the opening of the new coating and processing center represents another important milestone in the process of strengthening the aviation system in the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project.
He stressed the commitment to continue attracting the most prominent global companies in the aviation sector to develop their advanced capabilities and meet the growing demand for aviation services in the region.
He also pointed out that this comes as part of the project’s efforts to consolidate Dubai’s position as the world aviation capital, in line with the vision of the wise leadership.
For his part, Ziad Al-Hazmi said that this new facility constitutes an important step towards enhancing the company’s operational capabilities in the region.
