Dubai, UAE – The Organizing Committee of the Dubai International Aquatics Championships (DIAC) announced the participation of 1,670 male and female swimmers representing more than 100 nationalities, and more than 80 clubs and academies from various countries of the world.
This comes after registration for participation in the event closed.
The tournament competitions will be organized by the Emirates Water Sports Federation, in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council and Hamdan Sports Complex.
This will take place from April 2 to 6.
Records program
According to the organizing committee, the tournament will witness the launch of the tournament’s record program for the first time.
Official records will be recorded in the 50 and 100 meter races for various types of swimming.
Providing cash prizes and accredited certificates to swimmers who succeed in breaking these records.
Continuous development of the tournament
The organizing committee was keen to prepare all organizational and technical aspects to ensure that the tournament came out in a distinguished manner, especially in light of the large numbers of participants.
Which reflects the continuous development of the tournament and its transformation into a global platform for attracting elite swimmers and discovering talent.
The tournament is officially accredited by the International Water Sports Federation.
This gives its results the status of international recognition, and enhances its importance as one of the qualifying stations for major tournaments, most notably the Youth Olympics – Dakar 2026.
