Tokyo, Japan – The Emirates Judo Federation announced that the UAE national team will play 44 matches against its Japanese counterpart, the “world champion”, during its current camp at “Tokai University”.
This is in preparation for the Asian Senior Singles Championship in China from April 16 to 18.
The Federation confirmed in a statement that the UAE national team delegation arrived in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, yesterday, coming from the Republic of Kosovo.
With the aim of completing the preparation program, according to the plan established by the technical staff led by coach Viktor Sektrov.
For his part, His Excellency Mohammed bin Thaaloub Al-Durai, President of the Federation, explained that the final list participating in the Asian Championship includes 11 players: Simon Constantine, “60 kg weight”, Nar Mend Bayan, “66 kg weight”, Naji Yazbek, Mohammed Yazbek, “73 kg weight”, Talal Shufaili and Omar Jad, “81 kg weight”, Aram Georgian, “90 kg weight”, Dhofar Kosov, “under 100 kg weight”, and Omar Marouf, “over 100 kg weight”.
Along with players Bashirat Khroudi, 52 kg, and Eliza Litiev, 78 kg.
In addition to Dr. Nasser Al-Tamimi, Member of the National Olympic Committee and Vice President of the Federation, as Head of the Mission.
