Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, discussed during a telephone call he received from Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, developments in the region in light of the military escalation and its repercussions on regional and international peace and security.
Condemnation of the attacks and solidarity with the UAE
The call addressed the ongoing Iranian attacks targeting civilians and vital infrastructure in several countries in the region.
The Indonesian President reiterated his country’s condemnation of these attacks.
He also affirmed Indonesia’s full solidarity with the UAE and its support for all measures taken
by the UAE to maintain its security, stability, and the safety of its territory, citizens, and residents.
Calls for calm and diplomatic solutions
Both sides stressed the need for an immediate cessation of military escalation.
They also emphasized the importance of prioritizing dialogue and diplomatic solutions to address regional crises.
This contributes to strengthening security and stability and preventing further tensions in the region.
