Abu Dhabi, UAE – Tourist and entertainment destinations and hotels in the UAE are witnessing remarkable activity coinciding with the Eid Al Fitr holiday.
Driven by a wide turnout from families and residents at events and shows launched by various emirates to celebrate the occasion.
Activities for families
The movement is linked to a variety of programmes and activities, particularly those for families.
Which includes entertainment shows, children’s events, shopping festivals, and promotional offers provided by shopping centers and tourist destinations.

Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi is witnessing remarkable activity in a number of entertainment and tourist destinations. For example, Yas Island offers many entertainment and accommodation options and a variety of experiences during the Eid holiday.
Sheikh Zayed Mosque is a major destination for visitors during Eid.
The Zayed National Museum also presents the “Eid Joy” event, an interactive community program celebrating the Family Year 2026. It brings together families and local community members, both residents and visitors, through cultural performances, workshops, interactive experiences, and interactive activities inspired by Emirati heritage within the museum’s galleries and public spaces.
The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi is organizing the second session of the “Ghayta Al Ain” Festival in a new look and more cultural and entertainment experiences during the period from March 20 to 27 in the outer area of the Adnik Al Ain Center.
The festival celebrates the spirit of Eid Al-Fitr and witnesses many shows and activities.

Dubai
In Dubai, the offerings are diverse, and prominent destinations such as Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall attract large numbers of visitors.
At Expo Dubai, there are many Eid activities, starting with “Eid in Tira”, which starts from the first day of Eid until March 22.
It is a cultural festival that embodies the essence of Eid and combines innovation, heritage and nature.
In the heart of Terra Gardens, families can hang messages of optimism and wishes on the Eid wish tree.
Visitors can explore heritage workshops including weaving and wicker making. In addition to creative workshops to decorate lanterns, Eid cards, Islamic engineering arts, and clay plastic arts inspired by nature, guests can also enjoy camel riding experiences and enjoy watching animals up close.
During the Eid period, Expo Dubai also provides free entry to Dubai Vision, an immersive experience that showcases the journey of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him”, and gives families an opportunity to reflect on the values of leadership, steadfastness and Dubai’s journey over the years.
The Spring Young Explorers Camp also kicks off at Expo and runs until March 27, and a musical evening on Mother’s Day is held on March 21.

Dubai Miracle Garden
Dubai Miracle Garden announced that it will open its doors for free from March 15 until the end of the month.
Other destinations in Dubai are offering similar incentives, including free entry to Aquaventure World and The Lost Chambers Aquarium for both locals and tourists from March 10 to 22.
Hospitality sector workers confirmed that the Eid al-Fitr season represents one of the important periods for local tourism.
Hotels and resorts are keen to offer special offers and packages that include accommodation and recreational activities, which contributes to enhancing hotel occupancy rates during the holiday.
