Abu Dhabi, UAE – The match between Khorfakkan and Dibba ended in a goalless draw, in the game that brought them together at the Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium, as part of the nineteenth round of the UAE Pro League.
The match witnessed a balanced performance between the two teams, as defensive caution prevailed in the course of the match, with few dangerous opportunities on either goal, so each team was satisfied with obtaining a point.
First half with no real chances
The first half was characterized by caution from both sides, with Dibba having a relative advantage in possession of the ball, but the attacking attempts did not rise to the level of real danger to the goal.
Khorfakkan’s coach was also forced to make an emergency substitution in the 40th minute after player Serrano Seymour was injured, with Youssef Al-Amri taking his place.
Attempts without translation in the second half
In the second half, both teams tried to increase their attacking effectiveness in search of a goal to take the lead, and the two sides exchanged some attempts, but the defensive organization and the lack of a final touch prevented them from scoring.
With this result, Khorfakkan raised its tally to 20 points in tenth place in the standings, while Dibba remained in last place with 14 points.
