Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Charity Association announced the launch of a package of humanitarian and community initiatives on the occasion of Zayed Humanitarian Day.
Which falls on the nineteenth of the holy month of Ramadan, embodying the legacy of giving instilled by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, in the souls of the people of the Emirates, and in line with the goals of the “Year of the Family”.
The association is implementing a campaign to distribute approximately 40,000 “fasting Iftar” meals in addition to 4,500 “fasting breaking” meals as part of the “Be Fine” initiative.
It aims to spread the spirit of solidarity by reaching beneficiaries in various locations, emphasizing Zayed Al Khair’s approach to feeding food and spreading the values of compassion among members of society.
Dubai Charity announced the implementation of two charitable projects on this occasion.
The two projects relate to relieving the distress of a number of debtors in an effort to relieve distress for the insolvent, reunite families, and protect them from dispersion.
In order to stabilize the first nucleus of society in the family year, and treat a number of dialysis patients.
His Excellency Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Association, stressed that “Zayed Humanitarian Day” is a renewed annual milestone to celebrate the biography of “Zayed Al Khair” and renew the covenant with his approach that made the UAE a global oasis overflowing with goodness for humanity.
He said: “As we celebrate the ‘Year of the Family’, we find in Zayed’s legacy the deep roots of societal stability. He, may God have mercy on him, saw the family as the first fortress in which human values were built.” His focus on housing, education and health projects was only an effort to empower the family and provide a decent environment for its upbringing.
