Paris – Brussels – The Emirates – XRG cycling team recorded a strong presence on the European racing agenda on Monday.
After Jan Christen achieved a well-deserved second place in the Fun – Ardèche Classic race in France.
Florian Vermeersch took third place on the podium of the Omloop Heat Neusblad race in Belgium.
In France, Yann Christen gave a fighting performance in the Fawn – Ardèche Classic, known for its challenging methods, sharp climbs and attacking rhythm.
The race, which lasted 187.6 km, witnessed the presence of the Swiss talent in a strong group that included Matteo Jorgensen, from the “Visma Liz A Pike” team, and Lenny Martinez from the “Bahrain – Victorious” team.
The Emirates – XRG rider clinched second place after a strong finish, 48 seconds behind Paul Sichas “Decathlon – CMACGM”.
In Belgium, Florian Vermeersch, the team’s cyclist, climbed to the podium in the Omloop Heat Nieuwsblad race, which extended for a distance of 207.2 km.
