Dubai, UAE – Flydubai achieved net profits after tax of 1.9 billion dirhams, “$531 million”, in its fiscal year ending December 31, 2025.
While pre-tax profits amounted to 2.2 billion dirhams, “$591 million”.
The tanker’s total revenues reached AED 13.6 billion, or $3.7 billion, a growth of 6% compared to AED 12.8 billion, or $3.5 billion, in 2024.
Flydubai maintained strong operating profits before deducting interest, taxes, depreciation and debt amortization, amounting to 4 billion dirhams during 2025.
Fuel costs constituted 25% of the total operating costs, while the closing value of the company’s cash and bank balance amounted to.
Including aircraft delivery allocations at the end of the period of 5.6 billion dirhams.
The carrier also maintained improved operational efficiency as a strategic priority, with network departure compliance performance improving by 6% compared to 2024.
Strong demand for business class
The company achieved a record passenger numbers of 15.7 million passengers in 2025, driven by continued demand for business and leisure travel across its network.
Demand for business class was particularly strong, rising 19% compared to 2024.
Increased flight numbers and network expansion in key markets contributed to supporting passenger growth.
The Middle East region recorded a growth of 17%, followed by Africa with 12% and then Europe with 12%.
The tanker operated 126,604 flights last year, recording the second highest number of flights operated in the UAE.
It also recorded more than 400 departures in one day during peak travel periods in December 2025.
Flydubai continued to expand its network of strategic routes, launching nine new destinations, bringing its total destinations to 140 destinations in 58 countries.
The total capacity, measured by the number of seats available per kilometer of the network, increased by 6%.
While passenger transportation revenues by kilometers increased by 6%, with passenger revenues increasing by 3% compared to 2024.
Flydubai received 12 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, bringing the number of its aircraft to 97 with an average age of 5.5 years.
Meanwhile, the company took three new-generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft out of service and returned them to leasing companies.
The company also completed a comprehensive cabin modernization program, upgrading eight new-generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Bringing the total number of upgraded aircraft in the fleet to 25.
The tanker crowned its year with a strong presence at the Dubai Airshow.
Orders for new aircraft were announced, including 150 Airbus A321neo aircraft and 75 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
Flydubai signed an agreement to provide free, high-speed communication service via the Starlink network on board its aircraft starting in 2026.
