Dubai, UAE – Dubai Electricity and Water Authority “Dewa” discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of sustainable energy and innovation with First Public Hydrogen and the American Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI).
This came during the reception of His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Robert Hertzberg, Senior Fellow at Mission Possible Partnership and Member of the Board of Directors of First Public Hydrogen, and a senior delegation from the American Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI).
The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in the fields of research, development, innovation and capacity building.
In addition to specialized training programs including smart grids, renewable energy, energy storage, grid modernization, and energy efficiency.
As well as cybersecurity, integration of photovoltaic systems, and data analysis.
This cooperation aims to enable national cadres to effectively contribute to leading the future of sustainable energy and accelerating the pace of transformation in the energy sector and digital transformation.
In addition to enhancing climate efforts, in line with Dubai’s Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the Emirate of Dubai’s Carbon Neutrality Strategy 2050.
