Ajman, UAE – The International Charity Foundation continued to strengthen its humanitarian presence both within and outside the UAE during 2025. The total value of its projects reached AED 195 million, distributed between AED 170 million for initiatives within the country and AED 25 million for international projects. This comes as part of its support for institutional charitable work and the consolidation of sustainability principles in humanitarian initiatives, according to Reuters.
140 charitable complexes outside the country
The Authority announced the completion, implementation, and construction of 140 integrated charitable complexes outside the country, at a cost of AED 25 million. These complexes targeted less developed communities and contributed to improving the quality of life and enhancing social stability in those areas.
The complexes included mosques, schools, water wells, and health centers. In addition, they provided other service facilities that meet the basic needs of the residents. This was part of a developmental approach that links education, health, water, and worship within a sustainable, long-term framework.
Local support worth 170 million dirhams
Domestically, the Authority’s projects within the UAE amounted to AED 170 million in 2025. Thousands of families and individuals benefited from these projects through diverse programs aimed at strengthening social solidarity and instilling the values of giving.
These initiatives included providing assistance to Emirati families and paying tuition fees for struggling students. They also encompassed supporting healthcare cases and covering the costs of treatment and surgeries. Furthermore, the projects included sponsoring orphans and providing support programs for students at various educational levels.
Commitment to sustainability and community partnerships
His Excellency Dr. Khalid Al Khaja, Secretary General of the Authority, affirmed that implementing this number of projects within a single year reflects the significant efforts exerted by the working teams and partners. He noted the ongoing development of programs and the expansion of community partnerships. This enhances performance efficiency and ensures that support reaches those who deserve it transparently and promptly.
