Dubai, UAE – Data from the Dubai Department of Tourism and Economy showed that the emirate received, for the first time, more than two million international tourists in December 2025.

This recorded the highest tourist influx ever in one month.

About three million Gulf tourists visited the city in 2025.

According to data, the number of international tourists reached 2.4 million international visitors last December.

Compared to 1,850,000 tourists in November 2025, a growth rate of 10.3%.

Thus, Dubai received about 65.8 thousand tourists every day, at a rate of 2,742 tourists per hour.

These figures show that the number of tourists in one month is equivalent to approximately half of Dubai’s population.

In other words, for every two people staying in Dubai, there is one tourist who visited the city in just one month.

The data showed growth in all performance indicators in the hospitality sector in Dubai.

This includes international tourist numbers, average room rate, average daily rate, and overall occupancy rate.

In addition to the size of the hotel market, and the number of nights spent by tourists.

In addition to the average accommodation per tourist, given the growth in the tourist and hotel capacity indicators.

As for the source of visitors by geographical region, the Australasia region recorded the highest growth rate of 11.3% in the number of tourists during 2025.

Compared to the previous year, 2024, by about 401,000 tourists.

The CIS and Eastern Europe region recorded a 10% growth of about 2.89 million tourists, while Western Europe recorded a 9.6% growth of 4.1 million tourists.

It was followed by the Gulf Cooperation Council countries with a growth of 9.3%, and an average of about three million Gulf visitors.
