Ajman, UAE – The Ajman Municipality and Planning Department announced its full readiness to welcome the holy month of Ramadan.
It confirmed that its services will continue to operate according to the announced schedule.
The department will also intensify inspection campaigns targeting food establishments, retail outlets, shopping centers, restaurants, traditional kitchens, food factories, sweet shops, and bakeries.
This aligns with the objectives of Ajman Vision 2030. The Vision aims to enhance the quality of life and the emirate’s attractiveness.
Intensifying inspection campaigns
The department explained that its inspection teams will continue their work throughout the holy month to ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain consumer safety. It also aims to provide safe and healthy food for the emirate’s residents and visitors.
The department noted that customer happiness centers will be open to the public from Monday to Thursday, from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Services will also continue to be available via the “Qareeb” video conferencing channel and live chat on Fridays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Slaughterhouse opening hours
She confirmed that the Ajman Central Slaughterhouse will operate from Monday to Thursday in two shifts: from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM. On Fridays, it will operate from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 9:00 PM to 11:30 PM. On Saturdays and Sundays, it will operate from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The Manama Slaughterhouse will operate from Saturday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. It will also operate on Fridays until 12:00 PM.
The Masfout Slaughterhouse will receive customers from Saturday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On Fridays, it will operate in two shifts. These will be morning and evening.
Parking lots, gardens, and Ramadan decorations
The department explained that paid parking will be available in two periods daily, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 8:00 PM to midnight, except on Fridays and public holidays. Parks will also be open daily from 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
As part of the festive atmosphere, the department decorated streets, bridges, squares, and parks in Ajman city
and the Al Manama and Masfout areas with approximately 1,500 illuminated displays.
This was done to create a spiritual ambiance reflecting the joy of the holy month.
