Dubai, UAE – The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment announced the organization of the second edition of the UAE Agriculture Conference and Exhibition. This event is under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court. The event will be held from April 22 to 26, 2026, at the ADNEC Al Ain Exhibition Centre.
The event is part of the UAE’s efforts to enhance its sustainable food security system. It also aims to solidify the UAE’s position as a global hub for agricultural innovation. This is in line with the objectives of the National Food Security Strategy 2051.
An integrated platform for the food value chain
The new edition carries the slogan “A Comprehensive Emirati Agricultural Platform… Towards Community Sustainability and Global Innovation.” This reflects its strategic expansion to encompass all links in the food value chain. This starts with supporting farmers, livestock breeders, and aquaculture. It also includes strengthening partnerships with major food industry companies.
Her Excellency Dr. Amna bint Abdullah Al Dahak, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, affirmed that the event embodies the UAE’s commitment to the wise leadership’s vision of enhancing sustainable national food security. Moreover, she noted that the second edition represents a pivotal milestone. It builds upon the successes of the first, and aims to solidify agriculture as a strategic driver of the food security system.
Four strategic objectives
The 2026 edition aims to achieve four main objectives. These include enhancing the quality of Emirati farmers’ participation and enriching the visitor experience through interactive events such as “farm-to-table” competitions. It also includes enabling agricultural education by engaging students in the “Mustadeem” program. Finally, the edition will promote agricultural entrepreneurship through university project exhibitions and national competitions.
Five paths for a comprehensive experience
The event is based on five strategic tracks covering the entire sector. These tracks include the Farmers Track,
the Education Track, the Community Track, the Business and Young Entrepreneurs Track,
and the fifth track, the International Track for Dialogue on Global Agricultural Policies.
The program features the “Knowledge-Based Agricultural Conference,” a platform that brings together experts
and decision-makers to discuss smart technologies and value chains.
It also includes the “Agricultural Exhibition,” the “UAE Farmers’ Market,” and the “International Pavilion.”
The selection of Al Ain as the event’s host city reflects strategic significance, given its status as the leading agricultural hub in the UAE.
Furthermore, it is home to more than 11,000 farms. Additionally,
it has an academic base that includes hundreds of students specializing in agriculture.
This strengthens the link between the agricultural sector and the job market
within an integrated logistical environment provided by ADNEC Al Ain’s facilities.
