Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), in collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent, launched its annual Ramadan Food Aid Initiative 2026.
The initiative supports individuals and families in need across the UAE. This initiative reflects ADNOC’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility programs during the holy month of Ramadan.
The launch took place at the company’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi. In attendance were His Excellency Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Managing Director and CEO of ADNOC and its group of companies.
Also present were His Excellency Dr. Hamdan bin Musallam Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Red Crescent,
and His Excellency Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Secretary-General of the Zayed Humanitarian Legacy Foundation. Furthermore, several other senior officials were in attendance.
Food boxes and daily breakfast meals
The initiative included packing Ramadan food boxes for distribution in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra. It also involved preparing thousands of Iftar meals to be distributed throughout the holy month.
This year, more than 22,900 people will benefit from the Ramadan food and Iftar initiatives.
This step underscores ADNOC’s commitment to easing the burden of living expenses
and strengthening the spirit of solidarity and community cohesion.

Extended strategic partnership
His Excellency Dr. Hamdan bin Musallam Al Mazrouei affirmed that the initiative is the culmination of
a strategic partnership spanning more than ten years between the Emirates Red Crescent and ADNOC.
It represents a pioneering model for integrating humanitarian work with social responsibility.
Additionally, it has contributed to embodying the principle of giving that characterizes Emirati society, particularly during the month of Ramadan.
He noted that this ongoing cooperation has supported charitable initiatives and relief programs both within the UAE and abroad.
This aligns with the wise leadership’s approach to establishing a culture of giving and promoting social sustainability.
Volunteer work and community service
For his part, Saif Al Falahi, Acting Head of Human Resources, National Identity, and Corporate Support at ADNOC, said the campaign reflects the company’s commitment to the values of giving and fostering a sense of unity among its employees and the community.
Dr. Ghaya Al Neyadi, Senior Vice President of National Identity, Quality of Life, and Corporate Social Responsibility, emphasized that Ramadan presents an opportunity to reinforce the concept of shared responsibility through volunteer work and community service.
