Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, arrived in the UAE today on a fraternal visit. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, was at the forefront of those welcoming His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani upon his arrival at Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi.
Also present at the reception were His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chief of the Presidential Court; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence; His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor; and His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior.
Amid a number of senior officials
His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs, was also present. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, was also in attendance. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the UAE, was also present. In addition, a number of senior state officials were in attendance.
The Emir of Qatar is accompanied on the visit by a delegation that includes Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir’s Personal Representative; Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Olympic Council of Asia and President of the Qatar Olympic Committee; Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Khulaifi, Chief of the Amiri Diwan; Sheikh Al-Qaqa bin Hamad Al Thani; and Sheikh Hamad bin Tamim Al Thani. A number of other senior officials are also present.
