Abu Dhabi, UAE – Etihad Airways carried 2.2 million passengers last January.
An increase of 29% compared to January 2025, when 1.7 million guests traveled on Etihad flights.
The seat occupancy rate reached 89.9% during the month, compared to 89.1% the previous year.
Etihad Airways’ fleet reached 127 aircraft at the beginning of 2026.
With a network covering 110 destinations around the world, including seasonal and shipping destinations.
In addition to destinations scheduled to begin operations within the next 12 months, excluding charter destinations.
Antonualdo Neves, CEO of Etihad Airways, said that January marked a strong start to 2026.
He added that new services were announced last January to Luxembourg and Calgary, two destinations that will be connected for the first time by direct flights to Abu Dhabi.
