Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain,
at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, in a fraternal visit reflecting the deep historical ties between the two countries.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged greetings on the occasion of the approaching holy month of Ramadan. They wished the people of both nations a month of goodness and blessings.
The Crown Prince of Bahrain conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa
and his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the UAE and its people.
Cooperation that serves both countries
The President of the UAE reciprocated with his greetings to His Majesty the King and his wishes for further growth and prosperity for Bahrain.
Both sides emphasized the development of UAE-Bahraini relations at all levels. In addition, they affirmed their commitment to strengthening joint cooperation in economic, developmental,
and social fields, in a way that serves the interests of both countries and benefits their people.
They also discussed a number of issues of common interest and exchanged views on them.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior state officials,
including His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior,
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs,
His Highness Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Zayed Charity Foundation.
Strengthening fraternal relations
in addition to His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and a number of sheikhs and ministers.
The Crown Prince of Bahrain was accompanied by an official delegation comprising senior Bahraini government officials,
including His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister;
His Excellency Lieutenant General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior;
His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court; and a number of other ministers and sheikhs.
The Crown Prince of Bahrain arrived in Abu Dhabi this morning. He was received by senior officials at the Presidential Airport,
as part of efforts to strengthen fraternal relations and cooperation between the UAE and Bahrain in various political, economic, and social fields.
