Doha, Qatar – Sharjah FC were held to a 1-1 draw by their Qatari hosts Al-Duhail in the AFC Champions League on Monday evening.
Sharjah visited Al-Duhail at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium, as part of the seventh round of the AFC Champions League for Elite.
Sharjah succeeded in opening the scoring through Igor Coronado in the 41st minute, after he successfully executed a penalty kick, placing the ball in the lower left corner of the goal of Salah Zakaria, the goalkeeper of Al-Duhail.

Sharjah is scheduled to meet Uzbekistan’s Nasaf Qarshi, who are at the bottom of the West Group in the league stage, in the next and final round of the tournament.
