Qassim, Saudi Arabia – The UAE cycling team won two new silver medals in the general individual race.
This is part of the Masters category competitions in the 2026 Asian Road Championship.
It is currently being held in Al-Qassim, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and will continue until February 13.
National team star Hamid Mehrab achieved second place after a great competitive performance until the last meters.
To climb back to the podium and add a silver medal to his tally in the tournament.
Emirati player Moza Salem Al Mansouri also shined by winning second place in the general singles race for the Masters category.
With these results, the national team raised its score so far to one gold and three silver.
The results strengthened the UAE team’s position in the tournament.
After athlete Jamal Bouchakar Al-Falasi gave a remarkable performance in the over-60 Masters race, finishing the race in fourth place, with a slight difference from the bronze medalist.
This was in his first Asian appearance with the cycling team.
