Abu Dhabi, UAE – The 23rd Sharjah Heritage Days continues to reinforce Sharjah’s position as a beacon of culture and intercultural dialogue. This is achieved through a diverse program that blends heritage, intellectual discourse, and experiential experiences. In addition, the event features specialized seminars, interactive activities, and innovative initiatives. These reflect the emirate’s vision of building bridges between civilizations.
Dr. Abdul Aziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, explained that the selection of the Republic of Portugal as the guest of honor for this year’s edition came in response to the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. This selection aims to present the guests in a manner befitting their cultural and civilizational stature. Furthermore, it aims to promote understanding between peoples.
