Abu Dhabi, UAE – Shabab Al Ahli achieved a resounding 4-1 victory over their hosts Sharjah in the match that took place on Thursday evening, as part of the UAE Pro League competitions.
The match was held at Sharjah Stadium, as part of the 15th round of the ADNOC Pro League competition.
Al Ahly started the match strongly and managed to open the scoring early in the sixth minute through Bruno Cascardo Lemos, who capitalized on a loose ball inside the penalty area and fired it into the net from close range.
Sharjah managed to equalize before the end of the first half, specifically in the 41st minute, through Firas Bin Al-Arabi, who received a through pass that put him in front of the goal, allowing him to put the ball in the net.
As the second half began, Shabab Al Ahli regained control. They scored their second goal in the 50th minute through Yahya Al Ghassani, who received a pass from Bala and fired it directly into the net.
The visitors continued their offensive pressure, adding a third goal in the 65th minute through Saeed Ezzat from a penalty kick, confirming their superiority in the match.
Two minutes before the final whistle, Joao Marcelo Soares ended Sharjah’s hopes of a comeback by scoring the fourth goal in the 88th minute.
